Silver Linings marks a return to lightness. It is about redirecting oneself towards light and simplicity, particularly after a period of darkness, where we find ourselves entangled in doubts, thoughts, and fears.

Silver Linings has a deeply personal connection: as a dual citizen I have a strange relation with loss. After years of unresolved grief and an ongoing search for a sense of belonging, my designs showed me where the light was to be found, and where darkness lingers... Comfort lies in one of the most astonishing abilities of humankind: the creation of beauty out of a void. 

For each design, I used a technique that I developed in 2005, which uses metal tension to create movement with just one delicate winding line.

With Silver Linings I hope to give you a sliver of hope -wearable hoops and loops of hope.
